There are at least three ways to resize:
First: with the help of an elixir.
First you need to create a potion of clumsiness, it turns out from the combination in a bottle of water and an infernal wart. Now, depending on the desired effect, we add mushrooms to this potion: red - if we want to increase, brown - decrease. To increase the effect, the elixir must be mixed with redstone , and for use on monsters - with gunpowder.
Second: with the help of paints.
To resize you will need a dye. The more blue powder in your inventory - the smaller you are, the more purple - respectively more.

The need to reduce is not so obvious, although it is generally meaningless, since it is very easy to suffer from your changes. Now you are an easy target for any mob, but it will be very difficult for you to cope. But stealth will increase with each decrease (an amazing paradox, but it works!).
You can change yourself and the surrounding mobs and some items, so the flight of fancy is unlimited, you can create a herd of pygmy pigs and one giant dog for their grazing!
